What We Believe

We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible written Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is the divine and final authority on which we base our Christian faith and everyday living.

We believe there is only One God, eternally existent in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe that salvation is free, deliverance from sin and death.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.

We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and be born again, we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.

We believe that God loves everyone because God is love. It is His desire to heal and meet the needs of the brokenhearted, the poor, the oppressed, the mistreated, the marginalized, the reviled and the defiled.

We believe that God has a divine purpose for each of our lives that no one and nothing can change, deny or destroy if we believe and keep our eyes fixed squarely on Him. (Isaiah 54:17)

We believe in performing good works such as clothing the poor, feeding the hungry and assisting others in need.

We believe that performing good works will not save us, but it will give our lives purpose, impact the world, strengthen our faith and please God.

We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts.

We believe that God gives each believer spiritual gifts. These gifts are for the strengthening of God’s people and proof of God’s existence and power to unbelievers. The gifts of the Spirit are just as active and relevant today as ever. (I Corinthians 12:4-11; I Peter 4:10)

We believe that prayer is a direct link to God.

We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfill our God-given purpose and serve Him in spirit and in Truth.

We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and blessed lives in order to help others and help ourselves more effectively.

We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised. And we will stand on God’s promises until the day of Jesus Christ’s return.
